The Low Voltage Technician I will be tasked with installing security systems, upfitting trailers with networking/surveillance equipment, computers and servers, and drone technology, as well as providing field installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Our Low Voltage Technicians work primarily out of our Fenton, MI location but provide services and support to customers nationwide.

Responsibilities
- Upfit security camera trailers, mobile docked drone deployment trailers, and platforms, including installing drone, robotic, and other related equipment
- Run low-voltage power and network cables, including terminating and testing connections
- Perform soldering, wire crimping, and wire termination for various low-voltage power and networking components
- Set up and configure networking equipment, including TCP/IP configuration and port forwarding
- Install and configure docked drones on various deployment platforms and ensure integration with other systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and bills of materials
- Utilize handheld manual and power tools to assemble and modify trailers and install camera systems and drone and robotic systems
- Provide on-site and remote customer support, including system demonstrations and technical guidance

- Proficient with computer networking configuration, including LAN, WAN, NAT, port forwarding, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Proficient with physical network cabling, including terminating, testing, and troubleshooting
- Proficient with tools and techniques for soldering, wire termination, and crimping
Education & Experience
- A current FAA 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (or within 14 days of hire)
- A high school diploma
- Experience with drone technology is required (dock-based, drone-in-a-box system experience is preferred)
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or residential security systems, including video surveillance equipment
- Experience with network video recorders (NVR), network attached storage (NAS), and other video surveillance technologies
- Experience troubleshooting and solving technical issues efficiently and creatively
