Solutions Specialist

Our Solutions Specialists serve as our organization's primary customer-facing sales team. As a Solutions Specialist, your job is to guide your customers toward the most powerful, cost-effective drone and robotics solutions that best suit their mission requirements. You will help your customers see through the smoke and mirror marketing of the modern drone industry and hone in on the systems that can deliver the required result. We are a rapidly growing business with a customer base that deserves top-notch customer service, and that begins with you.


  • Develop a sales plan for assigned areas of focus that includes outbound prospecting, lead generation, and field sales engagement
  • Develop deep customer-focused relationships, managing both an inbound and outbound sales model
  • Provide on-site and remote demonstrations for customers
  • Provide updates to customers on order status, assist with change orders, and communicate all activity with related departments
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to represent UVT, network with current customers and prospects
  • Participate in remote and in-person company meetings
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to support commercial and government customers through exemplary customer service
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with remote team members
  • Assist customers with questions and facilitate transactions in a prompt, courteous, and concise manner
  • Serve as a direct, customer-facing sales representative when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Drone industry experience
  • 3+ years of sales experience is ideal
  • 1+ years of drone experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Gmail, Adobe Acrobat, Slack
  • Experience with an ERP system (NetSuite, Odoo, etc.) is ideal

  • Frequent computer and mobile device work
  • Frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching
  • Occasionally exerting up to 65 pounds
